This page explains what personal data we handle when you contact us or book a stay, why we need it and what rights you have.
The controller of your personal data is DeerVillas Group s.r.o., Company ID 10709169, with its seat at Na Folimance 2155/15, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic. Contact: info@deervillas.com. We process data in line with the GDPR.
From the contact form and from bookings: your name, e-mail, phone number, preferred dates, the number of guests and what you write to us, including a note about your dog. For a confirmed stay we also keep the dates of the stay, the price and the payment record, and billing details if you ask for an invoice.
To answer your enquiry and to prepare and provide the stay you booked (performance of a contract), to keep our accounts and meet tax obligations (legal duty), and to protect our rights in the event of a dispute or damage (legitimate interest).
Only those who help us run the service: our web hosting and e-mail provider, and our accountant. Our staff on Koh Phangan see the name, dates and contact details needed to receive you. We do not sell your data and do not pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to one year. Data about a stay is kept for the duration of the contract and then for as long as the law requires, in particular accounting records for 10 years.
You can ask for access to your data, for correction or erasure, for restriction of processing or for portability, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to info@deervillas.com. You can also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
The website uses only technically necessary cookies, which keep your chosen language and the session while you fill in a form. We run no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to consent to.
